Javier lives in Barcelona, Spain. He is a member of the Innovation team in Colt, responsible for driving Colt’s long term strategy and overall innovation development. His main areas of focus are Edge Computing, Digital Transformation, SDN & NFV and Transport Networks. Previous to his current position, Javier worked for 20 years in Colt’s Network Architecture & Engineering team designing Colt’s Packet and transport Networks and Services and introducing SDN & NFV technologies in Colt. He holds a Telecommunications Engineering Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain, 1996) and a MSEE Degree from Stanford University (CA, USA, 1999).
