Naveen joined Cognizant in December 2020 and is the Head of Communications Industry Solutions Group. He is responsible for communications strategy, portfolio management, commercial success, alliance management, and industry relations. 

Prior to joining Cognizant and since mid 2017, Naveen was the VP, Global Customer Engagement at TM Forum, an Industry organization. Prior to that, Naveen held the position of VP, International Business Development at iconectiv, an Ericsson company. Naveen joined Bellcore/Telcordia/iconectiv (Ericsson) in mid-nineties and served in various positions ranging from Product Management, Finance, Strategy, Industry Relations, and Corporate/Business Development.  

 Naveen has also been an ambassador to international telecom bodies (ITU, GSMA, TMF, ETSI), evangelizing the company portfolio. He has also delivered keynotes and lectures in Blockchain, AI, Telecom Regulation, Numbering, and Mobile Device Management in International Forums/Conferences. Keeping an eye on the future, Naveen has also led early development of new products in the areas of Internet of Everything, Smart Cities, Platforms, and Mobile Finance. 

 Naveen has an MBA in International Business & Finance from University of Connecticut. In addition, he also received a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
