Rune Rækken holds an M.Sc. in telecommunications. He has been with Telenor for 41 years, both in research and in operational units. Main field of work has been mobile systems, with focus on radio related topics. He was involved in standardization of GSM, and is Telenor’s main delegate in 3GPP. He is also task-leader in one EU 6G flagship project.
